Police shut down two massage parlours in capital operating illegal prostitution

Featured Replies

Interior Ministry police on Tuesday arrested a dozen foreign nationals suspected of operating an illegal prostitution ring of massage parlours in Phnom Penh’s Por Senchey district. Major Sok Vibol, an officer with the ministry’s anti-human trafficking and juvenile protection department, yesterday said police arrested 10 masseuses and two managers at about 5pm after police raided the two massage parlours in Chom Chao II commune.

Maj Vibol said police had monitored the shops and followed the suspects for about one week. He said customers paid between $50 and $100 in exchange for sex services. Maj Vibol said that after a case was built, police reported their findings to court prosecutor Keo Sothea.

“They’re foreigners. They operated illegal prostitution in the city, and it impacted our culture,” he said. “They were not afraid of our laws.” He noted that the owners of the massage parlours, managed to escape arrest.

No Thai or Cambodian person would operate a massage parlor, a soapy, or a Karaoke parlor that offered sex. They are simply too pure in body, mind and soul to do something like that. It would take a foreigner to commit such a dastardly act, that flies in the face of the purity of this region.

You have got to chuckle. How they can spout this hypocritical nonsense with a straight face is truly impressive.

Gentlemen I believe the real scandal here is the idea of paying $100 for inferior foreign services.  Not only is this money denied to local service providers but it is clearly inflating the cost.  Deport them with 10 year ban immediately.

they real crime was not paying the tea money... now the competition has been eliminated and the locals can rejoice...

They do not offer - it's the customer that ask.… :whistling:

Quote:- (from Khmer Times link)

"two Chinese bosses, a man and a woman, fled the shops before the raid"

Need I say more as all the staff were Chinese or Taiwanese.

''  '' operating illegal prostitution ''   ....instead of legal prostitution ?!!
