It's unclear to me whether Savannakhet still offers a same-day visa service where you can submit your paperwork before 11:00 and pick up your passport with your new visa at 15:30, such as explained in this post from 2014:

If anyone could let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

Pick-up is the next working day.

The same day service only lasted for few months. It ended in early 2015 if I recall correctly.

A recent post describing a TVF-members experience on applying for a MultiEntry Non Imm O - marriage Visa in Savannakhet, contained the following paragraph:

 

You must lodge you application between 8:30am and 11:00am and you pick up the next afternoon between 2:00pm and 4:30pm. DO NOT GO ON A FRIDAY or you will have to wait until Monday afternoon to pick up your passport with your visa.
