Dense fog in the mornings have been forecast for some areas in upper Thailand, the North and the Northeast along with cool weather in the morning.

The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Friday (January 10) that the weak high-pressure system covering the Northeast and the South China Sea and the westerly trough at high altitude prevailing across the North will cause fog in the mornings. All transport should proceed with caution in foggy areas, the department suggested.

The department also mentioned that the easterly winds prevailing across the lower Gulf and the lower South of the country is weakening and less rain is forecast for the South.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:

Northern region: Cool weather with fog in the morning and thick fog in some areas, temperature lows of 16-20 degrees Celsius and highs of 30-37 degrees Celsius. Temperature likely to drop to 5-14 degrees Celsius on hilltops.

Northeastern region: Cool weather with fog in the morning, temperatures lows of 16-21 degrees Celsius and highs of 33-35 degrees Celsius.

Temperature likely to drop to 10-14 degrees Celsius on hilltops.

Central region: Partly cloudy with fog in the morning; temperature lows of 22-23 degrees Celsius and highs of 35-37 degrees Celsius.

Eastern region: Mostly cloudy with fog in the morning and thundershowers in 10 per cent of the areas; lows of 22-25 degrees Celsius and highs of 32-36 degree Celsius; waves a metre high.

Southern region (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 10 per cent of the areas; lows of 22-26 degrees Celsius, highs of 31-34 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high.

Southern region (west coast): Partly cloudy with isolated rains in some areas; lows of 23-26 degrees Celsius and highs of 33-35 degrees Celsius with waves a metre high.

Bangkok and surrounding area: Partly cloudy with fog in the morning; lows of 24-26 degrees Celsius and highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius.

They are burning...just take a late evening drive and see it for yourself. Or ask someone who arrived by air In the evening hours and had a window seat They do it under the cover of darkness and probably because it’s a lot cooler too.

Hey, it's not just fog but also smoke from the many fires ignited by arsonists!

But who can be so deficient in believing that it is fog?
Try to sell the smoke of your endless fires like fog!
