reentry permit

Featured Replies

Is a reentry permit still available at the airport? If so, what documents are required? Also is it possible at both at both airports?

Kind of a last minute situation that would be a pain to go to immigration for.

Thank you in advance.

You can get a re-entry permit 24 hours a day at both airports in Bangkok on departure from the country.

If you are willing to pay a 200 baht service charge you will need nothing but your passport.

Thank you for your response. Where is the desk located in the airport?

This is a big load off of my mind.

Thanks again.

One more question, Is the fee still the same? 1000 baht for a single and 3900 for a multiple?

Thanks

At Swampy it's just before passport control. At Don Mueang just after. I fly in out Thai every week. Just now last Saturday. Zero queue. Have your form filled in. With pic etc. 1000 single 3800 multiple. So easy.

Don't forget on the arrival form they refer to it as a visa when they want the number

Thank you all for the replies. Much appreciated.

At DM do you go through passport control and get the exit stamp before getting to the reentery desk? Seems like that would already invalidate m retirement visa. Maybe I misunderstand.

A departure stamp does not invalidate your permit to stay from a visa entry or extension of stay. That does not happen until you enter the country without a re-entry permit and get a new permit to stay date.

Thank you for the clarification.

For the multi reentry permit, can that be used for the 3 month non o visa (Thai daughter not married) and the 2 month extension - so spanning 5 months in total, or would another reentry permit be required at another 3800 baht

Thanks

Each time you obtain a reentry permit it is dated to match your current "permission of stay" stamp.

If you obtain extension after obtaining reentry permit you will need buy another..
