Paper work required for a 60 day marriage extension

Featured Replies

Good evening to you all

Quick question please. i am due to do a 60 day marriage extension this week, either Thursday or Friday.

My wife wrote down the paper work required but we cant find it now.

From my memory 2 years ago it was this:

Passport

Passport copy

TM6 arrival form , plus stamp

Wife's ID card

Marriage certificate

House book

Utility bill

Any more information required please?

Thank you kindly

Your wife will need to be with you when you apply.

Copy of passport photo page, visa if any, entry stamp abdextension stamp if any.

Copies of all other things you mentioned.

No sure about the utility bill.

Perhaps a TM30 report if needed by the office where you will be applying.

Thank you kindly sir, that's what i thought and yes, bring the wife for a picture at the end

Just did it yesterday and they told us that it is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Because our Phor Ngor Dor 1 Did not have the certification from the tax department (Wanted the extension of stay based on marriage / prove the income by working contract in Thailand).

That is false info.

It is once per entry to the country using any type of visa.

If you have been on an extension of stay it would be once until you left and re-entered the country using a visa. A entry from a re-entry permit is not a new entry.
