Retirement extensions rental contract

Recommended Posts

Hi there,I’m current on a non o thai child which will expire in march.I will be 50

end of february and gonna apply for retirement extension because this is the least

hassle and the money is no problem. What I want too know is do I have to show a rental

contract or is it ok to just show the TM 30 form as I’m living together with my baby and

girlfriend (Mother of our child) in the house of my girlfriend and obviously don’t pay rent.

As you never can be sure with immigration and they maybe demand to see a rental contract

in order to give me the extension I just could make one to please them if necessary.

You do not need a rental agreement in your case. Just a copy of your child's mother's house book and ID card signed by her. At the most other that that would be a short statement that your and her child were living with her.

A TM30 form may be needed unless you have not done one since your last entry to the country.

   Hi.thanks for your replies.

I’ll be using the Korat Office.living together and paying the

Bills ???????? but all in girlfriend name.allways done my TM 30

   and everything by the rules.

Was just thinking of getting a rental contract made up in case

Immigration would make a problem about this.Maybe somebody

in same position and also using Korat Office know about this?

As Ubonjoe said, you don't need a rental contract, because you don't rent. You need copies of your wifes blue house book and her thai ID-card, both sides, and signed by her in blue ink. That's your proof of residence.

I am in exactly the same situation as you, and last June for the first time ever I was required to have a rental contract even though I do not rent. Easy, just go to the stationary shop, buy a rental form (3 baht) fill it in, show zero rent, find a shop that sells stamp tax stamps, this was 30 Baht affix it to the agreement after it's been

signed by your girlfriend, you will need to provide a copy of your girlfriends housebook and ID card, duly signed. Every office is different, mine was Kanchanaburi and as per the others they make the rules up as they go.

have your girlfriend write a statement to immigration stating she is renting and you are living with her.  attach that to a copy of the rental contract.
