Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for the quickest/easiest run from Khanom ... ?

I assume you are asking about Khanom in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

I would say the crossing to Myanmar in Ranong would be a good choice.

That or the one into MY-Padang Besar, though there may be more hassles and hoops to go there. Is probably much easier/quicker to get to.

Thanks Asanee - was a simple thing last year, evidently they're requiring an overnight in Malaysia these days. I saw a post on a different site that sez Ranong isn't available, trying to confirm that.
