I need to get a residency certificate confirming my address to get a Thai driver's license. I was told I need to go to counter B at Chaengwattana immigration. I've never done this before; about how long of a wait time does it usually involve?

Its not the wait time at CW thats the problem! I went to do this when I bought a car. After the wait and all paperwork done they told me I could pick it up in about two weeks! If you want it immediately you have to make an appointment and go to the  Embassy. For me the USA Embassy. Pay $50 usd and walk out with a residency certificate.

    OP, have you previously done a 90 day report at CW.

    Seems that is a requirement to obtain a RC
