March 9, 20206 yr Popular Post Hell, I'm not confident about ANYTHING this government does. I take that back. I am confident they will screw things up.
March 9, 20206 yr It would have been really interesting o see which of these CEO, s were running International Companies for large Conglomerates. I think maybe 53.3% were.
March 10, 20206 yr How can one blame them? Are they confident about anything the government does (apart of course from feathering their own nests).
March 10, 20206 yr As far as I see going to companies over the past month, its very much the private sector who are taking appropriate precautions and not leaving it up to the Government. When you consider the day to day measures here in terms of temperature checks, hand sanitizer availability, face masks, information on LINE etc, it is far far far better and more proactive than Western Countries. The Government messages are all over the shop, but private sector act responsibility and in general still even in Thailand people do what they are told in situations like this. Every client i have seen recently, they have temperature checks, many inform in advance that we are not permitted to visit and do it by conference call etc etc. Office personnel are taking it very seriously, and in a factory in Rayong last week, the HR lady who brought me in nigh on was getting a hostile reaction from bringing outsiders into the office.... There may be holes in the methodology etc, but this part of the World is far more orderly and prepared than most of Europe who cherish their free choice so much.
