aroimaak
I need to find a shop that has a bit more comprehensive selection than B2S for example. Can someone direct me to a good store? Thanks
girlx
there is a store not far from the mcdonalds by the democracy monument. it is 2 floors, on the first floor when you enter there are lots of thai schoolbooks. the art supplies are towards the back, and also upstairs. on the outside of the building you will see orange stripes. i don't think it has canvases though. also in siam paragon (the actual department store) there is a floor with all kinds of art supplies. aroimaak
Thanks, Paragon had an ok selection (if read&write shop is what u meant). I still kinda feel like a lot of the art supplies were targeted for kids.. I guess thai artists don't use western medias that much. I still need to find some newsprint paper for drawing practise (I read that newsprint is the thing for practising economically). Anyone know where I could find some? raindrops
There is a good art supply shop in The Old Siam. Can't really remember the name sorry. You don't really need to go out of your way to find newsprint for drawing practice, any good sketchbook from B2S will do. bangkapiboy
The best one I have seen was in The Mall Bangkapi dept store. Surely there must be some place better though.
raindrops
You can also try shops in front of Silpakorn University....that's near the Grand Palace.
