racyrick
Does anybody know lately how long it has been taking for mail to go to the USA from Thailand and from the USA to Thailand? Thanks in advance and I wonder if the 2 week travel ban to Thailand will really slow things up. Link to comment
metisdead
I was going to send some payments by mail to the US via EMS on March 30, the lady at the EMS office I visited told me that Thailand Post was sending by surface mail only, 3 months for delivery. 1 Link to comment
lungbing
This afternoon my PO in Khon Kaen refused to accept one letter to the UK and one to the US. "inside the country only" she said. 1 Link to comment
Tounge Thaied
I had a small package sent to my address in Buriram Province from Illinois, USA 3 weeks ago. Still has not arrived. I'll report back here if it does. Link to comment
MyTHaiMyKe
They will put it on a rowboat and say they sent it but the guy rowing got tired and it never made it. Waste of money and time! Link to comment
racyrick
Well it looks like all mail coming or going overseas is basically at a standstill. Looks like I will never get my stimulus check. Link to comment

I have to wonder what they really mean by surface mail. Container ships across the pacific? Trains or trucks of mail heading west and then across the Atlantic? Link to comment
Monomial
This happens every year around the holidays when there are too many packages and not enough room by air. They send the overflow by surface freight. It takes around 5-6 weeks. Link to comment
