I keep Silkie chicken at my French house - basically as pets, but also for eggs and to help keep the pests down, they have free range of my garden which has secure fences all round. 

 

Wife was  asking me if we could have some in Thailand too - I've never seen any here, but I know they have them in China as they are a delicacy there as the main ingredient of Black Chicken Soup - they have black skins and flesh!

 

So is it possible to buy them in thailand? I suppose the alternative would be to slip a few fertile eggs in the baggage one time and find someone with an incubator or a broody here.
