Laos Pakse Airport

The Finance Ministry of Thailand plans to extend 320 million baht in loans for Pakse Airport in Laos to help boost tourism and the economy in the southern part of the country.

Under the terms, Laos must use Thai consulting and construction firms. :D It also must buy materials and services from Thailand worth at least 50% of the total construction cost.

Once finished, Pakse Airport would be in compliance with International Civil Aviation Organisation safety standards. :o
