Recommend a Bangkok solicitor who can write in English

Featured Replies

Hi I need to get a passport photocopy singed as being a true copy of myself.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Thanks in advance

you can go to your embassy and get the copy notarized or there are some places in Bangkok that will verify and sign, you don't need a solicitor, and Thailand uses lawyers.  Just go to a travel agent, police station, lawyers office and ask.  Have you ever been anywhere before in your life

It needs to be sent to England and needs to be signed by a solicitor/lawyer or an accountant. They need to put plenty of information that they are who they say they are.

Not sure a travel agent will be much good.

As for have I ever been anywhere in my life before ? Strange question. And no I have been in the same hospital bed I was born in 58 years ago.

Thanks for your help.

For certified copy of a passport?

The UK embassy will do it and it can be done by post.

What country is your passport for?

What do you do you need the certified copy for?

If something for a government or a local authority your embassy would be the best place to do it.

There are plenty of British and European lawers/solicitors working in Thailand.

It's for money laundering, proving I am who I say I am.

Need proof of passport and a proof of address.

I asked Siam legal about it. It says it needs to be done face to face.

You can get both at UK embassy. Did you click the link I posted before. Both are shown on that page.

Yes, Thanks very much.

£25 per document seems a bit stiff, any idea what the cost at Siam would be ?

I'll probably go to the embassy, but nice to know what someone else would charge.

I asked Siam but not yet had an answer.
