COVID-19 claims third life in Cambodia

The deadly coronavirus has claimed the life of yet another victim in Cambodia, marking the second COVID-19 death today and the Kingdom’s third death overall. The deceased was identified as a 46-year-old Cambodian male who resided in Sangkat Boeung Salang of Phnom Penh’s Toul Kork district.

He was announced dead by the doctors at 3:30 today but place of treatment and his death has not been confirmed by the Health Ministry. According to the doctors, the main cause of his death is solely COVID-19, meaning that the patient did not have any other serious health problems.

The doctors added the virus had caused serious damage to his lungs , and they had use VN1 ventilators to help him breathe but still did not manage to save him.
