Is there a way of linking up an android tv box to a laptop running win 10 or linux mint? Tried USB and HDMI, maybe an app downloaded on laptop or the box?

One of the screen mirroring apps may work but you'll still need a monitor plugged in to the box to get it started.

    Why not run an Android emulator like BlueStacks or Nox on the laptop and run your Android app on that.
