Naew Na reported that the Crime Suppression Division arrested a 39 year old lathe worker at the dormitories attached to a rolling mill in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi.

Prajak was named in a warrant for producing and repairing illegal weapons, namely guns.

A quantity of pen guns and blank guns were found.

He studied engineering at university and over the past two years he had been using his skills to work on more than 100 weapons.

He'd charge up to 1,100 baht for work on the smaller weapons and 8-9,000 baht on adapting BB guns that were subsequently sold for double that.

The media also reported there had been raids at 15 places in ten other provinces looking for five people who are part of the same gang involved in producing illegal weapons.

Details about the raids will be announced later.
