Today I was short some baht so took 3 * 100 US dollar bills to get exchanged.

After they quoted me a rate of 34.26 I decided to only transact 1 * 100 USD dollar bill.

Now I know what it is to be addressed politely by Bank staff and this wasn't it. I had earlier almost did 3 bills but went a way and did 1 instead. Immediately when I sit down I'm asked to show ID card but asked in a not so polite manner. read. If I had been a Thai I would have been somewhat offended and the Bank staff mocked me when they saw I only wanted to transact 1 instead of 3 bills.

Anyway I found it humerous that I was asked to present ID or passport to do forex at SCB. I'm pretty sure their staff know how to evaluate whether the bill is geniune or not.
