Is there an equivalent number Thailand to UK or must you use one of those tiresome calling cards? I always get into such a pickle with them!

This will have limited appeal but I think more broadband suppliers are offering it now.

I have an orange mobile phone. I pay an extra £5 per month for their super broadband service which gives me free landline to landline calls to Thailand.

Apart from the £8 a month I saved on broadband (previously £12.99pcm) I saved £80 a month and I was using a 2p a minute service!!!!!

Now my wife is here she manages to call her family and friends everyday and it costs us nothing.

Prefix with 009 instead of 001; eg - 009 44 1432 345 678. Think it's still 7 baht per minute whereas 001 is around 18.

1p pm mobile and landline my wife uses it all the time. Funny thing is often my BT bill is often no more than their option 1 price (which I'm on) so god knows who's paying for umpteen calls to LOS!
