You can obtain extension 45 days prior at some offices and others 30 days prior.

CW is up to 45 days early.

Don't know about Canadian embassy for income letter. 

I get mine done 90 days in advance every year but that's through an agent here in Pattaya.

You obtained your annual extension 90 days early? 

Have never heard of that with or without agent. 

At Koh Samui Immigration, you can renew your retirement extension of stay only one week in advance (8-10 days)...30 or 45 days in advance is absolutly impossible.

As said, 45 days at most and 30 days at others.

Always do mine (marriage) 30 days before. Trat.

At CW yesterday morning I obtained my one year retirement extension which was stamped into my new UK passport. The extension was due to expire on 20 December. All completed by 1130 hrs with no hassle 

On s similar theme, I’m coming in visa exempt then converting to OVISA.   Can anyone advise please how soon after obtaining the O visa ,can I get a retirement extension? Money already in place.

You can apply for the extension of stay up to 30 days early or 45 days at some offices.

I never tied that office

Some offices are 2 weeks only and depends on your generosity could be vary.
