Saw one in a cage at the local temple a few years back. Not sure how long it was, rumoured to be about 4 metres, but about 7 inches dia in the middle. I still recall driving around end of runway swamps at Takhli Air Base in the late 60's in full size station wagon and stopping/waiting for the local python.
