Elkski 2847
https://www.healthyhildegard.com/what-is-galangal. Interesting. Wife wanting to take home some Galangal. Is there a preparation method that makes it ok to import to USA on plane? Maybe 2#. I will try to see what the rules say. It's not hard to buy where we live. Maybe it's related to the isaan ghost thing?
drtreelove 1139
I believe live plant material will be prohibited, confiscated at SFO or LAX, and you may be fined. Galangal is availble in SF Chinatown and some Asian supermarkets like "99 Ranch" in Calif, I don't know about Utah.

Both are easy.
