Fire razes police training school in Chonburi - short circuit expected

Thai Rath reported that a police training center known as "Khao Noi School" belonging to Region 2 of the Royal Thai Police burnt down yesterday.

 

Muang Chonburi police were alerted to the fire at 6.40 pm yesterday.

Ten fire engines from several different municipalities attended the scene and had the fire under control within an hour.

 

It happened in an old meeting room at the facility in Moo 7 in the Ban Suan sub-district of the eastern seaboard province of Chonburi.

Witnesses reported hearing sounds that indicated a short circuit followed by flames that were fanned by high winds.
