In a Hearing on Capitol Hill this week, FBI Director Kash Patel was asked if bureau hiring practices prohibited folks who had engaged in prostitution and bestiality. Patel said neither would get in the way of hiring.

In contrast, it has been reported over the last 18 months that staff at agencies and departments ranging from the CIA to FBI to DoJ were fired for such "unacceptable" acts as having voted for Biden or believing Biden won the 2020 election. IN fact, people were fired for simply doing their job, if that job was investigating the 6 January 2021 insurrectionists or prosecuting them.

I know for a fact that SIS (Senior Intelligence Service) personnel at CIA were asked 3 questions, and fired or transferred to meaningless positions if they answered "incorrectly" to 3 questions:

-Who won the 2020 Presidential election?

-Who got you vote in 2020?

-What is your opinion of 6 January 2021?

But bestiality? MAGA has a big tent, and apparently it has room for farm animals.

Of course Patel tried to argue that he meant people who were "forced" into such acts.

Even Republicans took exception, with Sen Kennedy (R-LA) asking:

""When you saw bestiality, I say this with respect: The person who recommended it, why didn't you just say what planet did you parachute in from?"

I suppose such sickness is par for the course in Trump world. After all, he reportedly enjoyed being spanked by Stormy Daniels with a Forbes magazine that had Trump's image on its cover. No need to go into allegations---in the Epstein files from an FBI interview of an alleged victim---that Trump has a fetish for torturing female nipples, never mind the allegations of watersports in a Moscow hotel.

I'm hesitant to paint with a broad brush, not wanting to insinuate the proclivities of the MAGAs, but it would be fair, considering those of us who dislike Trump are repeatedly told we're "commies" or "socialists" of "hate America". In point of fact, some of us dislike Trump specifically because we LOVE the ideals toward which the US should be directed, but which Trump hates, such as free speech, a free press, truth and honesty.
