Is it possible to obtain a work permit without a degree?

I've been offered a job teaching and was told by my employer to obtain a non-immigrant B visa from the U.K and then do visa runs...I didn't realise that this could mean I'd be working illegally!

Is there a way round this?

If you're going to do visa runs you don't need the B, just the O. Have known some who apply for permit with no degree but this was awhile ago and apparently now they req. deg. You can always apply and see what happens. They won't kick you out, just refuse to give permit.
