To hopefully help we are both English and age 28 and 32. We have seen some internation schools on the internet but it always more helpful if someone can recommend one. Both me and my wife are about to get enrolled onto a TEFL course in England which we hope to complete by year end.

We are both none Thai.

We have no relatives and very few friends over there

we hope to buy our own house when we get out there rather than get mortgage or rent.

Dont understand LOS-SEA question  :D

The plan is to both get TEFL, come out, one of us find work whilst the other finds a school and then 2nd person finds job hopefully between us getting 60,000-70,000 bt per month

Hope this helps answering some of our questions. Thanks ::o:

With both of you being non thai, the chances of you being able to buy a house are slim, as non thais can't own property legally. But depending on where you settle, rent can be reasonable or downright cheap. The LOS-SEA question relates to whether you have actually been to, and especially lived in Thailand (Land of Smiles) or South East Asia. Anywhere can be great for a short period of time, like a vacation, but when dealing with the cultural differences, and so many other issues a lot of people bite off more than they can chew. Don't be rash and keep your options open.
