Cosmetic dentists in thailand

Featured Replies

I have been in Thailand now for about three months and am expected to last for a posting of about 3 years.  During this time, I would like to get some cosmetic work done, possibly including braces so I can have a 'happy' smile when I return to the US.  My question is this:

Can anyone here recommend a good cosmetic dentist?  I am looking for one that is close to the Silom area and speaks reasonable English.  Any anecdotal information would be very welcome.

There was a story about cosmetic dentistry at frommers.com about a month ago. I believe that the dentists were in Chiang Mai. The prices were so good for major work that people were flying over from the U.S. to get the work done. May be worth checking out as Chiang Mai is an interesting trip.

There surly is no shortage of qualified dentists here in Bangkok and almost all will speak English.  They can be found in any hospital, for any type of work.  The cosmetic specialists are found in major shopping malls and larger clinics.  If you don't get a recommendation would stop in and talk with some.  I doubt that you can go wrong with any mid to large size clinic or hospital place.  But the cost may not be the same at all places.  Shop around.
