Can I Start This Topic? / How / Where?

Hi,

This topic came about from the topic in the General Forum on how to behave or not behave during the current period of national mourning.

The topic then drifted on to how expats and their families can best prepare themselves for future periods of mourning that may have a very severe impact on Thai society, so much so that being prepared and acting in the right way is crucial to people's personal safety and well being.

Please realise I'm very sincere and serious about this, I'm asking to raise a topic that is clearly and presently in front of us, and pretending it isn't there and not being prepared may cause significant harm. I am asking in which forum this could be best placed, and if the moderation team could place additional constraints on such a topic, such as having every post be pre-approved.

I understand it's a difficult topic, but it could prove to be a crucial one to many, many foreigners in Thailand.

If the answer is 'no' then I understand, but please consider the impact on the foreign community and the potential harm people may find themselves in if their not prepared or haven't thought it through.

I'm not looking to provide opinions on this, but rasther to let more experienced people, and any Thai forum members, share their thoughts and warnings.

It's a very difficult topic indeed. Please refrain to discuss it in the open for now, as it is a bit sensitive.

Thanks for your understanding.

Kind regards

George
