It is YOUR choice to keep your domicile in Belgium instead of registering at the Belgian Consulate in Bangkok. A Belgian registered at the Belgian Consulate in Bangkok keeps all his legal rights, also health insurance during visits to Belgium. Most residents who keep their domicile in Belgium do so with malicious motives, such as conning travel insurances. The Belgian Consul in Bangkok is a very nice lady and the staff at the Consulate are very friendly and helpful. Their service is excellent, easy, fast and inexpensive compared to what I read about consulates of some other countries. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
