Out Of Control?

I understand I'm risking getting banned here, and the last couple of posts I have made are against thaivisa. I do hope when moderators read these comments though they look through my other posts and realise that I'm not a trouble maker, merely speaking my mind and asking for others to do the same.

Point I want to make is I just started reading another post about mia nois in Thailand and do farang have them?

It was not a BG topic which I think has bored everybody recently, but a topic about a quite a large part of thai society and asking do farangs partake in it.

Topic was closed after 6 posts, reason being:

The Admin/Moderator team do not want such posts made on ThaiVisa.com.

Please take this kind of content elsewhere... not here.

Can we have an explantion of why a topic like this was banned, seemed like a reasonable discussion to me.

The original poster was also told:

From your far away location you do not need to worry about things in Thailand.

Can we only post and have opinions if we are in Thailand? Is our opinion worth less if we post from out of Thailand? If we poke fun at certain moderators will our topics be closed, or ourselves banned? Are some of the moderators out of control?

C L O S E D based on idiotic likely outcomes.

This was a reason given by Dr Pat Pong on the the thread.

Can you wait and see if their are idiotic outcomes and then take appropraite action first before closing the thread? Or do you become judge and jury and sentence the thread to be closed based on what you think might happen in the future?

Will this thread be closed because I dared to speak out?

Specifically...

1) You will not use thaivisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy , or otherwise in violation of any law.

Considering the mass blanket ban on such subject, this thread was considered to be within those boundries.
