Korean man arrested for allegedly forging passports

BANGKOK: -- Police have arrested a Korean man for having allegedly forged passports for sale.

Kim Hoi Sung was arrested on Soi Lard Prao 96 at 1:15 pm while delivering false passports to an undercover police.

Tourist police commander Pol Maj-Gen Chuchart Suwannakhom said police seized 63 South Korean and Hong Kong passports from Kim.

He told police that he has been living in Thailand for seven years and has been hired to forge passports at the rate of Bt10,000 for each passport.

He said he superimposed pictures of his customers on passports, which he bought from South Korea.
