Trump Undermines Carney in 1st Official Meeting, Leaving New Canadian PM Looking Outmatched
Who wrote this, the a sports commentator? It’s not a matter of ball or mic possession, volume and bluster aren’t ‘winning’. Carney wiped the floor with Trump: "As you know from real estate, there are some places that are never for sale,"…. "Having met with the owners of Canada over the course of the campaign in the last several months, it's not for sale. Won't be for sale, ever." Masterful play, slotted right between Trump’s legs into the back of the net. -

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
You were just looking for the wrong places. You are right that internet shops are mostly a thing of the past, but there are still print shops, copy shops and photo shops around. That failing, you could have asked the receptionist at your hotel to print it for you. -

Skype to be shutdown in May
I may well be wrong but I would have to disagree that Skype was in any way a similar "competitor" to Microsoft at that time - and certainly not a rival - https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cedy2ygy50do Remember Microsoft bought it from basically private equity owners (ebay still had a 30% stake). Which brings it back around to why Microsoft may regret this move and pissing away the goodwill of millions of Skype users. Politicians are people, too. And a lot of them are hearing from friends and family about the Skype debacle. Meta's in the hotseat for transactions they did over 10 years ago. Not hard to imagine more political pressure to do the same to Microsoft for the Skype transaction of over 10 years ago. They have an OS, a software suite (Office) and now a communications suite. They may even be forced to divest Teams. Personally, I think they should have sold Skype. Not killed it. -
