Hi All

I am comming to Koh Samui to do my scuba diving instructor certificate, with this i get all my acomodation so that is not a problem. Does anyone know where the best place to look for a bar job is as i will be wanting to work when i am there as well.

If you do your instructor course, you will likely do an internship as a DM. I don't know what level you are right now, but if you are DM'ing you will not have time or energy to do anything but that.

You will be putting 12hrs a day in, loading tanks and taking people down twice a day. As well as fitting in studying for the IDC.

Then when you do pass your IDC you will be working all day too.

Belive me, i did it, and no way was there time to work in a bar, if there is such a job for a farang, which I doubt.

Just get qualified and work the dive industry IMHO.
