Anyone use a Tomtom in Thailand.

I'll likely be biking about the mean streets of Bangkok and really don't need the hassle factor of start/stopping for map consultation and the like.

Is software available for download / purchase locally for Bangkok?

Unless something has changed recently, I know of no Tomtom compatible Thailand map.

garmin yes. they use esri maps. tom tom nothing available as far as i now. but new gps can be had for as little as 5995baht for no name brand or 9990b for garmin. they include the maps. map by itself 7,000b
