AI and Cost of China Energy: China is winning the AI game. And, why?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

Ever since the days our Grand-Pappies invented fire, we have known that Economic Development was a product of the Cost of Energy.

But not only this, and it goes deeper. Even the size of the Human Brain (and my brain is the biggest) has been made possible by fire, and then the cooking pot which breaks down food nutrients for easier and more efficient absorption by the human body.

Fire, or Fire and the Cooking Pot has brought us a long way on our evolutionary path.

However, when we think about the cost of modern-day use of energy, China has been winning this game, BIG TIME, for a number of years. And, we also know that Cost of Energy predicts the winner in the Economic Expansion Game. Not only this, but it will be the cost of Electric Power generation which will predict who dominates the AI Game.

Obviously, the USA has no hope of winning any game in town, including the AI Game, due to China’s rate of advancement and industrial dominance, and, most importantly, COST OF ELECTRIC ENERGY production.

Cost of Electric Energy production in China: about US 0.062  to  US 0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kWh)

Electricity and energy production costs in the USA are significantly higher than in China, with American consumer rates averaging more than double Chinese rates.

Just in case anyone might enjoy two beautiful vids concerning AI Dominance and also Potential Challenges to Humanity directly attributable to AI Evolution. It is the CEO of Microsoft who does a great job of clarifying simply some of the basics of AI Evolution. And then, NIC out of South Africa and the UK helps to clarify, very simply, the effects of Cheap Electric Energy production and China’s strategy to commodify AI products, in order to crush any hope that the Clammy-Sammy Model of AI has any hope of being successful.

I love good NON-HYPE vids such as these two.

And, I know that you, here on TV, do, too.

So, please, Folks, we can feel relieved that we are not dead yet. Instead, we are merely dying, at the moment.

Two nice vids.

Thanx YouTube.

Regards,

Gamma
