Blutack Anyone ?

I haven't looked specifically for blu-tac but if I'm having trouble finding something stationery-wise I take a look in the large stationery/arts department on the top floor of Central Chid Lom.

Beware of cheap imitations (like white pritt tac) that stain and become runny in hot climes.

real genuine blutak is available at Office shops,

in Silom, wong wiang yai and elsewhere.

the yellow stuff don't work very well.

i always travel with blutak since i discovered how invaluable it was when i was teaching.

the 3 travel essentials : blutak, rubber bands, small plastic bags.

also on the list of things hard to find is Angostura Bitters, never seen it for sale in thailand.

(Squash & Bitters is terrifically refreshing on a hot day).

also good quality Burmese cheroots (saybolay) are hard to find,

the ones used for temple offerings are pretty awful to smoke,

good ones can be found in a burmese shop in T. Pan (opposite and back a bit from the Hindu temple in Silom).
