Vigo Cover For Pickup Bed

Featured Replies

Sorry about the vague post name but I don't know the terminology for what I need. We have a new 4 door Toyota HiLux Vigo and I want to know if anyone has one of those covers for the rear bed of the pickup that can be locked. It is a hard cover that can be raised up to form a kind of roof. If you have one you will know what I mean (I hope). Anyway, are they any good and how much are they over here... Cheers

Thanks for the info, a Sportlid, that's what it is called. Anyone know how much they go for?

There are manual and motorised versions. Get a manual one as the motors impinge into your load area. From memory the manual ones were around the 15/20k mark with the auto ones a fair few thousand more. Didn't bother in the end as we were humping so much stuff around.

I've got one on my Vigo.

I have the motorised version, and I think I paid around 24,000 baht. I had it fitted last year at one of the car accessory shops at Rangsit.

I'm very happy with it, although it does restrict what you can carry in the back height wise, but it works for me.

I also think they improve the overall look of the truck.

Go for the Aeroklas sportlid. Go and see the difference between this one and all the others..

It completly closes the the sportlid so not a drop of water comes in. It has 2 lights inside so everything is easy to see at night.

When you are driving with the sportlid up it is by far the most stable one.

The price of mine was 20000 Baht including the paintjob.

The cover is easy to take off and is a motorised one.

It's been working perfect for 2 Years now.
