We are in the process of acquiring land and house in Chiangmai on the river. The title is Chanot. Next to the house is a piece of alluvial and, between the house and the river. My lawyer sent me a copy of the civil code which states that alluvial land belongs to the riparian( owner of the riverside land)owner.

The land looks well above the high water line and currently has a swimming pool on it. Does anyone know or have experience if this alluvial land is legally constructible?
