Ricardo
The PM is out of the country, the PPP-led coalition-government proposes to amend the Constitution during a meeting purportedly to discuss ASEAN agreements, a move which will be unpopular with many people, and even with some of their minor-party coalition-partners. A significant non-parliamentary opposition-movement will oppose any changes, but it is very possible that the courts will shortly dissolve the PPP anyway, so it is decided to try to rush the changes through. Has the consultation so far on this been sufficient, do the MPs already have a mandate to change the Constitution anyway, or is this a last-gasp attempt to impose the ammendments before the government falls ? What do TV-members think ?

majorpacman
First off, leaving parliament to decide is absolute ridiculous. Why don't the thai people just shoot themselves in the head. The government systems is full of corruption and cronies, instead of working for the people, the thai government see themselves government jobs as investment. Secondly, there should be somewhere in the constitution that state that banned or individual that find guilty of vote buying shall be band for 50 years++ or forever. Also, you can not form another group to enter government election. Since, there was so many new constitution or amendment, why thailand just hold another coup party to rewrite the constitution. Oh yeah, invite Burma dictator too. The question is when will thailand get their act together and build a better government, instead of biting each other. Believe me, it will get worser for the people, if the people don't see that the current government or not helpful in making the country better. best wish to the thai people, demand what you want. If the thai keep up this keep this less productive goverment types then other countries around the region will become a global player

Ricardo
As I don't have a vote in this country, it doesn't matter what I think. Which is why a poll of TV-members, who mostly don't have a vote here, might be interesting, reflecting some sort of 'outside-view' of the situation ?
