comproez
Hi guys, i have a non immigration O visa with multiple entry where i have to exit every 90 days. Also, i have no previous driving license at all. Can i apply for a driving license based on this type of Non-O or is it only for the one with 1 yr extended stay? And is it possible to get a Thai driving license for a person like me with no previous driving license from my country? Thanks a lot..
percy2
Can you drive? If so, if you can pass the test you can have one. Cheers

Dirk_brijs
can even be done with a regular 30 day entry stamp (visa exempt) just depends on who you know It has been done before.
Rdrokit
They give a class before you take the written test (there is also a driving test) but the class is all in Thai. Here is a website for an e learning class put out by the Thai Land & Transportation Office http://www.dlt.go.th/driving_hp/ELearnning/E-Learning2.swf If it comes up in Thai there is a blinking box in the upper right hand corner to change the language to English. Good luck.

Grant
you also need a workpermit and medical certficate Don't need a WP - just letter from embassy or from immigration and any kind of NON visa (Bangkok) In Pattaya can apply with tourist visa
TerryLH
A WP is not required, but in KK last week they let me use a WP for proof of address instead of a letter from my embassy or from immigration.
