ianf Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 In the UK we have Diesel (same word in Thailand) and unleaded petrol; What is the equivalent of unleaded petrol in Thailand? In Thailand there is : Benzine Gasohol Diesel E20 What are these and how do they compare to UK?
thaicbr Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Ian its Benzine. Gasahol is a 10%ethanol mix and E20 is 20% ethanol. Do not use E20 unless the fuel sticker or handbook says so. personally i would not use it in any vehicle. Allan

dumball Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 There is no such thing as naturaly leaded gas , all petrol based fuels are lead free unless Tetryl Ethyl has been added at the refinery , I was pumping petrol as a young fellow when Tetryl Ethyl was first added to combat pre-ignition on higher compression engines .
