my thai wife if to inherit some land (in thailand) from her deceased parents. she is legally married to me (i am an austrian citizen and she bears my family name). can she accept her land inheritance or is owning land in thailand still forbidden to a foreigner's legally married thai wife?

she can accept it if she is a thai citizen. the rule you are talking about was abolished 10 or more years ago. have a look in the property sub-forum for earlier threads on this issue

she can accept it if she is a thai citizen. the rule you are talking about was abolished 10 or more years ago. have a look in the property sub-forum for earlier threads on this issue

she is a thai citizen, so all should be ok for her then.
