เดินหน้าไปไม่ต้องเหลียวหลัง can be correct translation but I think there are also specific phases for the expression. Now I can think of:

- ให้มันแล้วๆ ไป

- ปล่อยให้สิ้นเรื่องสิ้นราวไป

เดินหน้าไม่ต้องไปเหลี่ยวหลัง

I got told by a thai that this phrase means 'don't look back in anger'. Is this right?

I would have thought 'Walk forward, there's no need to turn back'

Where does the 'anger' come into it? Is this a Thai idiom?

usually this phrase means Walk forward there's no need to turn back but sometime this can mean forget thing or feeling in the past.

yes i intially took it to mean the former, but then heard it another context and got told it meant don't look back in anger as well.

thanks for you replies, greatly appreciated.

- ให้มันแล้วๆ ไป
that's อิทธิ พลางกูร's song. :)

Yes! haha. When "Bird" ธงชัย sang สบายๆ, the word became popular too.

....Let it be = ช่างมันเถอะ
