What's required for them to be 'officially' accepted for the application? registered translator with the MFA (plent of them in Wave Place on the corner of wirless rd and ploenchit rd in BKK). They translate it, and you can, for a small fee, have them take the translations out to the MFA to be certified (which saves a massive hike). Worth it in my opinion. Make sure you sit down with them before the do the translations to make sure your names, place of birth etc match exactly how they should be spelt in English. Australian embassy does not take too well to documentary evidence that does not match others. Went through the process recently to get our 5 month old her citizenship and then passport. Thanks for the quick reply . How much was it to do the citizenship / passport and do you know if they only accept cash for payment? samran
exact change only at the embassy. You need to check with them, as prices fluctuate with the exchange rate.
