Gippy
Makro have them. There are pretty industrial looking but seem sturdy and probably cheap to fix if they do break.

tutsiwarrior
some meat grinders have a high power rating (the better ones do, anyway). Make sure that the kitchen that yer gonna use it in has the necessary high capacity power supply... ye can't even operate a kettle inna lot of domestic kitchens around here...the high amperage causes the breakers to not cooperate... (no puns or sexual innuendo intended...) Edited July 12, 2009 by tutsiwarrior
saintofsilence
There are different grinders available If Is only beef you want grind check out boys town bangkok , however if you fancy a bit of mutton now again you will find plenty in the asoke or nana area. Some people like a grinder that can do a bit of both if that's the case look around for a trans gender model. good luck with your grinder shopping dont overspend. maxpower
Go to China Town Bangkok and you will find lots of shops selling food processing equipment. I got a meat/bone grinder there last year for making food for the dogs. Forget Pattaya, its expensive and has little choice. Just about anything you buy in Pattaya can be found a lot cheaper in Bangkok <snip> Edited July 13, 2009 by soundman Removed un-necessary comment.
