bkkjames
On my blackberry I just go into the message menu and click on the box that says - block sms / mms from those not in my address book. However, it's not 100% it seems, AIS still manages to get around it somehow.

Indeed, this is spam and is illegal in most countries, very bad publicity for Thaivisa, if you ask me....
farangpattaya
Since this morning, I receive sms-es with alerts on Nation topics: stock market, latest news, THB - USD rate........etc. I know I asked for it while I was participating in the ThaiVisa survey of last month, but how can I unsubscribe? Mrjlh
OK George, I'm suddenly getting test messages on my cell phone from Thaivisa.com. How do you stop them? and why did I start getting them? I don't recall subscribing to them.
bkkjames
hmm, the only ones I get are via email sent through to my blackberry, not sms.
george
In our recent internet survey we asked if you was interested in a 14 days trial of Thaivisa SMS. As you supplied your mobile number, we today started your subscription. To unsubscribe: Just dial **424010099 Or email support[at]thaivisa.com with your mobile number, and we sort it out. Kind regrads George

Once the above number is dialed you will receive a text message (in Thai) in few seconds saying that NT Thai Visa Text Message is Cancelled (B49/month)... bla bla. I don't understand the full content of the message. Also, I don't know if other mobile users in DTAC, True has to dial the same number???
