5ky
my 2nd post: here i am with a silly newbie question !! Does anybody know anything about Pattaya Condo Chain (Jomtien Soi 16) ?? I have seen three condos for sale @ 980k, 1.1m and 1.2m. All are 27sqm. (the latter two are renovated). Being in the UK, i'm out of touch, so whats your opinion on their value ?? My personal opinion is that they are overpriced, but from what i gather (having read this forum over a number of years) it's hard to obtain a reasonable discount, seen as the owners keep the price stable until it eventually sells. Any comments are welcome ....
hhgz
"i'm out of touch, so whats your opinion on their value ?? My personal opinion is that they are overpriced,..." You are confusing two different things: "price" and "value". According to Warren Buffett (even living in the UK, you've probably heard of him), "price is what you pay, and value is what you get". Regardless, you think they're overpriced, and that's the end of the story. It does not matter what we think.
InterestedObserver
40k/sqm for a condo in Pattaya is relatively cheap. That's what I think.
Gary A
In my opinion, 27 square meters is too small to live in. The location isn't that good either. The baht buses seldom go beyond Soi Chaiyapruk. For that size and location, they are definitely overpriced.
CHAIYENYEN
keep your money in the bank as property prices are likely going for the big bang......in thailand......spiralling down that is, given the the state of current affairs of the nation. ballbreaker
I think they are overpriced but that's only my opinion. If you could get two adjacent to each other for 1.2 million or so maybe.
