scudman Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi, I am going to be at the lake on the road to the British International School this Sunday 10/4 from 1:00 pm to about 3:00 pm. If you are interested in RC Sailing come on by and take a turn at the stick. I will have a couple of boats in the water for anyone wishing to try this sport. The lake is on the left hand side of the road about 1.5 km in from the main road. See you there. Jim
hkt83100 Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 See you there. It would be very helpful, if you could tell us the exact coordinates of the place (degrees and all that, North and East) or just a kmz-file (bookmark) for google Earth to find the place.Reason for edit: Sorry...
mcyachty Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Hi mate, Jut curious. I am thinking of buying one, but looks like a minefield out there. If I buy one, and it is not the same, then it is pretty hard to compete. Yes? What type do you have? Are they popular there? How much did your cost? I hope you don't mind the questions, and appreciate your input. Regards,

We use a handicap system to sort that out. Come on by Sunday, I have an info sheet that covers most of your questions. Regards, Jim
