pangapsumnida
Hi, wasn't sure where to post this so this seems the best place. Just wondering if anyone knew any good websites where I can find out about doing voluntary work in Thailand. I'm pretty open about what kind of work. I've googled it and trawled through but can't find anything helpful. Thanks!
grahamb
I don't know of anything online but offline, the Australia/New Zealand women's group Bangkok guide seems to be quite a good source. I think that's where my wife found out about volunteering at an orphanage. Be careful with agencies that you find on the web - when we were in Europe checking out volunteering before coming here, my wife found plenty of agencies that promised to put her in touch with people in Thailand as long as she paid a fee. When she asked the people in Thailand after arriving, she found out that they didn't see any of that fee... I guess the agencies have expensive offices in London to keep running
