From what i have read, Comfort suites and Erawan have a bad smell and I can t afford the Amari. Anyone stay near the airport lately. Your experience appreciated. Dont know about the smell but aircon not working properly, constant noise from aircraft, etc. The only positive side was the good shuttle service to the airport early in the morning. Krub Posted April 1, 2005 Share Posted April 1, 2005 Hi, I use the Quality Suites for 2.000 bahts incl tax service and 2 buffet breakfasts. Much cheaper than the advertised rates, ask for it. They reply to e-mails and you can book directly to the hotel. Shuttle bus is quick and free. They have recently refurbished rooms. All room shave separate bedrooms, sitting rooms, kitchen corner. Pool is smal but pleasant. Rags Posted April 1, 2005 Share Posted April 1, 2005 We have previously used Rama Gardens, and found it to be convenient and of a reasonable standard.
